La Anita Rainforest Ranch

La Anita Rainforest Ranch offers 10 cabins in a valley surrounded by mountain ranges and volcanoes. The ranch itself has beautifully landscaped grounds with lush, tropical plants.

From the ranch, you can drive to several national parks. The closest is Rincón de la Vieja National Park. Here you can hike up the side of a volcano that still has an active crater, and take trails that meander past waterfalls. This territory also naturally heated hot springs where you can experience the soothing effects of mineral-rich water. This area is also an impressive territory for bird watching.

La Anita’s main building has a restaurant and a souvenir shop. This ranch has its own farm where the owners grow cocoa, hearts of palm, cardamom, tropical fruits. The kitchen serves creative preparations of this produce, as well as hearty Costa Rican entrees.

Go out onto the lodge’s main deck and get some fresh air while you access the free Wi-Fi. La Anita also offers a platform that is large enough for 20 guests to practice yoga in idyllic surroundings, made even more pleasant by the nearby babbling streams.

These cabins have inviting porches with hammocks, overlooking the idyllic property. Each of the cabins has a private bathroom with hot water and a hair dryer. Cabins stay cool with ceiling fans. La Anita supplies everything you need to make a good cup of coffee. Guests can use their cabin’s large safety deposit box to store their valuables.
