Here, you’ll also admire the world’s largest hand-painted ox cart, a monumental cedar masterpiece decorated in vibrant colors and recognized by the Guinness World Records. The trip continues through beautiful rural scenery, with views of vast coffee plantations, sugarcane fields, cattle farms, and tropical forests, until we arrive in La Fortuna. In this picturesque town, we’ll enjoy a typical Costa Rican lunch at a cozy restaurant with spectacular views. Next, we head to a special viewpoint near the base of the Arenal Volcano, where you can appreciate its impressive silhouette and the stunning Lake Arenal. This cone-shaped giant remained inactive for over 450 years until its eruption in 1968, beginning a period of activity that, although it has diminished, still captivates visitors with its majesty. To crown the day, we relax at Los Lagos Resort, a true thermal paradise with a privileged location, panoramic volcano views, and beautiful gardens. The resort features mineral hot spring pools fed by the underground geological formations of the Arenal Volcano. It also offers warm and cold pools, nourished by tropical forest springs, chemical-free, and flowing naturally.
