We offer an unforgettable adventure on the San Martin section, featuring gentle yet exciting rapids rated Class I, II, and III. This stretch is ideal for families, and children as young as 6 can safely join in. Along the way, you'll take in the breathtaking beauty of one of the world's most renowned rivers and spot a stunning array of wildlife. Get ready to launch your raft and paddle your way through 13 kilometers (9 miles) of pure fun.

Your day begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel in San José. You'll ride in comfort aboard a private bus to our base, where a traditional Costa Rican breakfast awaits. After eating, you'll change into your rafting gear and head to our exclusive launch point on the Pacuare River.

At the riverbank, we’ll go over all safety gear and ensure it fits properly, followed by a thorough safety briefing and a quick paddling tutorial.

As you float down the river, you’ll have chances to swim, relax in the clear water, and simply take in the scenery. Midway through, we’ll stop for a riverside picnic lunch, freshly prepared and full of local flavor.

Once we finish lunch, the rafting fun continues until we reach the take-out point. There, your transport will be waiting to bring you back to your hotel or onward to your next adventure.

Closed toed water shoes (mandatory), quick drying clothing, sunscreen, and a change of clothes. Changing rooms are available after the tour.
