This ranch, set in a rich natural environment, not only offers expeditions but accommodations as well. You will find a couple of hotel options, the Magsasay Jungle Lodge and the Cuculmeca Tent Camp. The lodge is at the entrance of the Braulio Carrillo National Park, and bordering La Selva Biological Station, great for bird watching and wildlife viewing. After a fun filled day, dine at the restaurant where the freshest local produce is utilized to create delectable dishes.
The lodge is ideal for those wanting to relax in an outstanding natural environment and rest in simplistic comfort. The all hardwood lodge has comfortable rooms, a large deck jutting out into the jungle and solar power. The accommodations offer basic amenities along with hot water showers and stunning views. The tent camp provides comfortable tents within a forest location, mounted on decks and covered with a protective canvas. The tents come with four individual beds and are equipped with electric light and running water, along with hammocks, rocking chairs and hot showers.
I expected the tents to be a little nicer, but we loved them and the whole environment. The food was the best! They could invest in some new pillows.
