On this tour, an experienced SCUBA diving guide will you show you where to find an abundance of eye-catching species. It only takes 25 minutes to reach the islands from Tamarindo.

The Catalina islands are made up of twenty small islands. This is a popular place to dive due in part to the fact that the water is warm year-round. Visibility is best during the September-March season. Typically the visibility here is excellent, and you can see up to 18 to 75 feet (6 to 23 m).

You have the best chance to see manta rays between January to March. Many different species of manta rays frequent this area, including giant manta rays. Visit from September to March to see tiger sharks, killer whales, humpback whales, whale sharks, pilot whales, and spinner dolphins.

This tour consists of two dives, with a break for a snack in between. On the boat ride to and from the islands, you’ll have the chance to see dolphins and whales.
