Lucky Monkey

The Lucky Monkey property contains two three-story vacation houses in Tamarindo. It's a large house with enough room for either 10 or 14 guests – it's up to you if you want to rent the extra room. Guests come here for the panoramic view and lots of space. The amenities are basic, and the property is perfectly suited to people who plan on spending a lot of time a the beach.

Look out over Tamarindo Estuary, Tamarindo Bay, and to Playa Pinilla from the balcony on the top floor. Lucky Monkey’s fully furnished houses are nestled at the end of the street against a monkey-filled forest and are just a ten minute walk to the center of town and the beach. When you visit Tamarindo, you might take a surfing lesson, or if you're more advanced, make a trip to famous surfing spots like Witch's Rock. In town, there's a wide variety of cafes and restaurants to sample.

You can rent the property as either Lucky Monkey 1 or Lucky Monkey 2. Lucky Monkey 1 can sleep 14 people and has 5 bedrooms, while Lucky Monkey 2 has 4 bedrooms and sleeps 10 guests.

Lucky Monkey 1 is 4,200 sq. feet and has four bedrooms on the first two levels and a master suite on the top floor. All of the bedrooms have a king size bed and there are pullout couches in the master suite and the largest room on the second floor. The master suite contains a separate kitchen, dining area, set of stairs, and parking and has its own private entrance. The suite can be opened or closed to the rest of the house from a door with a deadbolt lock.

All of the floors have spacious balconies, including the largest patio area above the garage on the first level. The living area on the first floor opens up to the large patio and to a patio next to the pool. The house is also equipped with a private secured garage that is controlled by a remote where three cars can park.

The 3,200 sq. foot Lucky Monkey 2, with its own private parking in the back, includes four bedrooms and a retractable wall in the living room that can be converted into a fifth bedroom. The top floor is the master suite. Guests can watch the sunset out of a double size glass patio door and the suite includes a master bath with a jacuzzi, a California king bed, and furniture.

The second floors of the houses contain three bedrooms with queen or king size beds. Two identical rooms share a bathroom and open to a rounded patio. The third room is a large suite with a private bath and patio. The patios provide views of the forest, pool, and/or the Pacific Ocean.

Both houses offer kitchens fully equipped with a stainless steel dishwasher, refrigerator, stove, oven, granite counter tops, and large windows. The laundry room is next to the kitchen. A half bathroom is also at the bottom of the stairs in each of the Monkey Houses. A stone stairway curls up to the second and third floors.
