Around Uvita, you can take scenic nature walks and stroll past rushing waterfalls. After about a 20-minute drive, you’ll arrive at Marino Balllena National Park, the most popular place in Costa Rica for whale watching. Take tour with expert boating guides who can take you to the best spots for spotting marine wildlife. From May to November, sea turtles come ashore on certain beaches to lay their eggs. Depending on when you visit, you might get to watch sea turtles laying their eggs, or see hundreds of baby sea turtles emerging from their sandy nests.

From the grounds, you’ll have tremendous views of Marino Ballena’s famous “whale’s tale” sandbar. The grounds of Vista Celestial have 13 acres of tropical nature trails for you to explore. You’ll also have access to terraces that overlook the misty jungle canopy.

Experience more of the hotel’s beautiful grounds at the on-site spa. Take a swim in the saltwater pool and get something fruity at the swim-up bar. The pool area also features a soothing Jacuzzi and a decorative waterfall.

The hotel has nicely landscaped grounds that grow fruits, vegetables, and herbs—all items that make appearances on the dining room’s menu. The on-site restaurant serves organic ingredients as well as cocktails.

Guest villas offer 1,000 square feet (92 sq m) of space. You can use the air conditioning, or simply open a window and let in some cool breezes. Each villa has two queen beds, one of which unfolds from the wall.

You can get what you need to start your day from the service bar, which comes with a microwave, a coffee maker, and freshly ground coffee. Private bathrooms come with freestanding tubs and rainfall showers. On the terrace, you’ll find a Jacuzzi that can run cold or hot.
