How Can I Tell If a Costa Rica Hotel Is Sustainable?
There are two ways to find sustainable hotels in Costa Rica. First, you can check out the listing of hotels that are Certified Sustainable. These hotels have gone through extensive evaluations (which demand a great deal of effort and expense on their part) to be awarded this certification. These hotels can be found here.
The second option is to look for hotels that have completed Anywhere Costa Rica's sustainable practices survey. We decided that small and medium-sized hotels should have the opportunity to share their efforts of implementing sustainable practices, so we conducted a thorough survey of our hotels' levels of sustainability. The results of this survey offer our clients the ability to make informed decisions about where they stay.
