The highlight of our trip…
On our last day in Arenal, we did a rappelling and rafting adventure tour. This was by far the best excursion I have *ever* taken. The staff was excellent and so much fun. They really connected with you and made the experience the best it could be. The rappelling was amazing and the whitewater rafting was awesome. I have never done either before and both were excellent. The lunch that is provided was one of the best meals of the whole trip — five stars for me.
Laid-back vibes at Tamarindo…
Tamarindo was beautiful. I also liked the fact that it wasn't commercialized and had a lot of local restaurants and stores to explore. I felt very safe there. Everyone is friendly and it has a great vibe. I *will* be going back.
