Farm to Table

On this tour you will not just taste farm fresh dishes but you will actually get to see the process of Farm to Table.

This half day tour takes you through the secrets of a sustainable farm and restaurant. You will help pick fruits and vegetables, learn about organic farming and have an amazing culinary experience.

Upon arrival you will be greeted with fresh fruit and coffee. Your guide will discuss the lunch menu and the produce that needs to be harvested. You will head out to the farm and pick the organic items. Your guide will explain the history of the plants and their importance to the community. You will leave the produce inside and the local chefs will turn it into a fantastic meal for you to enjoy at the end of the day.

While the chefs are chopping and sautéing, you will visit the greenhouse. Here many seedlings line the glass walls. Chocolate, peanuts and peppercorns can be seen drying out in the sun. The last stop before your meal is to the local family of sloths that live in the trees nearby. And then finally its back to the farmhouse to enjoy the fruits of your labor.
