This 3-hour kayaking tour on Lake Arenal is a wonderful way to enjoy the magnificent scenery of both the lake and the nearby Arenal Volcano.

Situated at the base of the active Arenal Volcano, Lake Arenal is Costa Rica's largest lake. Following the 1968 eruption of the volcano, the size of the lake was tripled- today it has a total area of 33 sq. mi. (85.5 km). The area surrounding the lake is composed of forested and farmed hillsides, and of course the volcano itself.

During this tour, you'll be given first-class touring kayaks and will paddle across portions of the lake, providing stunning views of the volcano, lake, and the general Arenal area. You'll visit different islands within the lake, and gain a wonderful insight into this famed Costa Rican area.

This tour lasts 3 hours, with 2.5 hours spent on the water. There are both morning and afternoon departures. This tour requires at least of two participants and a minimum age of at least 10 years old.
