As the altitude changes you will start noticing differences in the types of plants and animals that surround the gondola. You can request to pause your journey so you can take a longer look at wildlife that has caught your interest. This tour comes with a guide who can offer information about Arenal's ecosystem.
You will reach a point where you can get out and enjoy the view from the observation platform. From the observation platform you can take a short hike along a nearby trail, before you board the gondola for your return trip.
