This tour has it all - exciting activities, beautiful views, and plenty of nature. On this combination your you'll enjoy some of the things that Costa Rica is famous for, and will be led by friendly, professional guides. From pick-up to drop-off, this tour lasts 7.5 hours.
Once you arrive at the park, your first activity is the Sky Walk. In total, the walk is a little over 2 miles (3.5 km) long and lasts around 3 hours. The trail leads through primary rainforest and includes 5 suspension bridges, 2 observation points, and 2 waterfalls. Walking across the suspension bridges will provide you with a new perspective on the intricacies of the rainforest. The trail is in good condition, but participants should be capable of walking for several hours and navigating slight elevation changes.
Next up is the Sky Tram, during which you'll board a gondola and ascend through the rainforest. This tram goes slow and provides you with ample opportunities to peer into the forest and search for animals. The ride ends at an observation deck, where you'll enjoy views of the Arenal Volcano and Lake Arenal.
After enjoying the view, you'll gear up for the zip-line. Your guides will provide you with a helmet, harness, and gloves, and explain the proper technique for riding the zip-line. This series of zip-lines stretches across canyons and reaches in-between treetops. Needless to say, it's an exhilarating experience. There are 8 zip-lines total, the longest of which is 2,493 feet (1,250 m). Together, the Sky Tram and Sky Trek take 2.5 hours. Do note, that if you arrive at the zip-line and feel unable to participate, you can take the tram back down to the base of the mountain.
After the Sky Trek is over, you'll be transported back to your Arenal-area hotel.
Please keep in mind that cameras are not allowed on the Sky Trek tour, but you can bring a Gopro. This tour is not recommended for people with seizures, problems with dizziness, fainting, heart conditions, osteoporosis, recent surgeries, asthma, any ailment at the time of the tour, or women who are pregnant.

We ended up not going the family was tired but would love to go another time next trip
The guide on this hike was excellent. The zip lining crew was lots of fun. Even in the rain, it was a fun time.
Loved the Sky Tram adventure -- so much fun and felt very safe! Sky Trek/Walk guide was very knowledgeable but perhaps a little too educational. Started with a group of 20 and half turned in the middle of the tour.
Similar things to do
This guided tour is a thorough exploration of the Arenal rainforest canopy. You’ll go for a walk over suspension bridges that offer peerless views of the jungle, and then go for a ride above the canopy in a cable car. Visitors should know that the hike is fairly strenuous, and involves steep ascents and descents, as well as climbing steps.
