On this tour, visitors have two different courses to pick from. You can go on the original canopy tour, which covers 11 zip-lining cables. Or, sign up for the extreme canopy tour and experience exhilarating cables as well as a rappel and a Tarzan swing. All of these tours take place in the dense canopy of the Guanacaste forest. Your instructor will make sure you feel comfortable with the equipment.
The original canopy tours has cables of varying lengths —the shortest is 164 feet (50 m) and the longest is 1,312 feet (400 m). In addition to the zip lines, there are three caopy bridges.
Visitors on the extreme canopy tour will put on superman-style harnesses, which make riders feel like they're flying. The shortest line is 918 feet (280 m), and the longest 1,476 feet (450 m). To take the rappel and Tarzan rides take off from 72-foot (22 m) platforms.

This expedition at the Buena Vista Lodge allows tour members to enjoy canopy tours and horseback rides, and hot springs all in one day. Oh right and then there is that 400-meter waterslide through the forest.
There’s a simple reason why zip-lining is so popular in Costa Rica – as soon as you step into the jungle, you’ll realize that most of the action is happening above your head, in the canopy. Birds, monkeys, as well as vibrant plantlife create an entirely separate universe from what you’ll experience on the ground. Take this tour to experience one of the longest zip-lines in the country, as well as an exciting freefall that offers a mini-bungee jump.
