Jaguar Rescue Center Tour
On this tour, you’ll get to see animals as well as meet animal trainers that have extensive experience with jungle wildlife. This isn’t a zoo, but a place where you can see animals in the wild, with monkeys and birds chattering away in the trees. As you walk around the property, your guide will provide you with tips for approaching animals.

The Jaguar Rescue Center doesn’t focus exclusively on big cats. As you explore, you’ll get to see monkeys, wildcats, sloths, and anteaters. You can also safely observe some of the most deadly, venomous snakes in Costa Rica – they’re enclosed in terrariums.
The Jaguar Rescue Center provides a home for injured or orphaned baby jaguars. Although the center does provide a permanent home to some residents, they focus on re-introducing the animals into the wild. Guides are highly familiar with the animals and their reason for living in the center. You'll come away from your visit to the center with a much deeper appreciation for Costa Rica's natural bounty.
