Not AvailableOn this tour, you’ll get to see animals as well as meet animal trainers that have extensive experience with jungle wildlife. This isn’t a zoo, but a place where you can see animals in the process of rehabilitating. As you walk around the property, your guide will provide you with tips for approaching animals.
Common animals include monkeys, sloths, birds and anteaters. You can also safely observe some of the most deadly, venomous snakes in Costa Rica – they’re enclosed in terrariums.
The Jaguar Rescue Center provides a home for injured or orphaned animals. Although the center does provide a permanent home to some residents, they focus on re-introducing the animals into the wild. Guides are highly familiar with the animals and their reason for living in the center. You'll come away from your visit to the center with a much deeper appreciation for Costa Rica's natural bounty.
