IncludedOn this tour, you’ll paddle around the Tamarindo Estuary and get a good look at the native wildlife. This estuary is between the Tamarindo Beach and Playa Grande.
In estuaries, inland freshwater and salty ocean water make a brackish mixture. Tamarindo mangrove trees have strong roots that dip into the water, and monkeys bounce between trees. Colorful motmots and graceful egrets make for some interesting bird watching.
You might spot an iguana on the banks, and crocodiles in the shallows. Crocodiles aren’t dangerous to people in kayaks, but this isn’t a good spot for swimming.
