The shoreline is undeveloped, so you’ll be able to see lots of interesting wildlife. You can look for birds like kingfishers, flycatchers, and anhingas.

If you look in the trees that grow on the banks of the lake you’ll see monkeys, coatis, and sloths. Looming over the lake you’ll see Arenal Volcano in the distance.
