Liberia Airport
The Liberia Airport acts as a gateway to exploring the Nicoya Peninsule and northern regions of Costa Rica. There are a number of hotels, restaurants, rental car agencies, and shops around the airport. Staying here before or after a flight makes the travel process smooth and easy.
More about Liberia Airport
The Daniel Oduber Quiros International Airport is the second busiest airport in Costa Rica (the first is Alajuela). Flying into this airport is the easiest way to reach destinations like Playa Flamingo, Tamarindo, Playa Hermosa, and Samara. The airport is named after the former Costa Rican president Daniel Oduber. It receives daily domestic and international arrivals.
The airport is set 8 miles (13 km) west of Liberia. A handful of hotels are set near the airport. These typically offer airport shuttles and are a convenient option for travelers flying at an early or late hour. There are also restaurants and other traveler services, including rental car agencies, in this area.
We believe travel is more than ticking destinations off a list – it’s about discovering new places deeply, feeling connected wherever you go, and knowing you have a trusted team behind you every step of the way.
