The Cinco Ceibas’ full day tour includes a walk along the elevated rainforest boardwalk and your choice of horseback riding, river kayaking or an educational oxen wagon tour. Transportation to and from hotels in San José area is also included.

During the Cinco Ceibas full day tour, you’ll enjoy two activities and lunch. The first activity is a walk along the elevated rainforest boardwalk. This boardwalk is a raised wooden trail that passes through primary forests. It offers visitors an excellent look at the Costa Rican flora and fauna. Tour participants are given a self-guided tour book and can choose to either walk the boardwalk alone or with a naturalist guide.

Next, you can choose from one of several activities, including a horseback tour, river kayaking, or an educational oxen wagon tour. During the horseback tour, you’ll head off on horseback through the rainforests and pastures of Cinco Ceibas—enjoy stunning views of volcanoes, mountains, and a river. The river kayaking tour offers travelers the opportunity to paddle down the Cuarto River (Río Cuarto) on single or double kayaks. During the educational oxen wagon tour, you’ll ride in a covered wagon pulled by oxen and visit reforested areas and farmland.

This tour includes lunch at the Cinco Fusion Café, which serves Costa Rican comfort food and fusion dishes that are both tasty and healthy. Also included is transportation to and from your hotel.
