I can't imagine doing this without Anywhere. I told them what type of activities we wanted to do and they picked the best tour companies and did a fabulous job arranging all of it. My family and I had been looking forward to this fun Costa Rica trip for months. From landing to traveling to Arenal, we had a great start. It was easy to find our driver and he was extremely friendly. He even recommended a great place to stop for lunch and we had a wonderful meal after a long day of traveling.
Why we love this Costa Rica vacation…
Arenal is our favorite place in Costa Rica. The volcanoes, the rainforest, the fun excursions — we loved everything about it. The kids loved the Arenal Volcano hike and really, really enjoyed the rafting experience at Sarapiqui River. Our tour guides were knowledgeable and the dinner served at Tabacon Hot Springs resort at the end of the day was really nice.
Laid-back days in Tamarindo…
We had a laid-back last few days on Tamarindo. We enjoyed using the amenities of Tamarindo Diria and taking it slow like a true vacation. The Marlin del Rey catamaran trip was beautiful.

The river is considered a national monument because of the vital service it provided in transporting arms, goods and soldiers in the 1856 war against the filibusters.
