El Río Balsa se encuentra a tan sólo 50 minutos en auto desde La Fortuna. El recorrido incluye rápidos de clase II y III.

Después de cubrir los rápidos conocidos como "La Roca magnética" y "Dragas", hay un descanso de 15 min para comer un aperitivo de fruta. En el camino se pueden observar monos, tucanes y otras aves exóticas.

Antes de regresar a casa, hay una parada para almorzar en Vida Campesina, una pequeña granja orgánica que sirve platillos tradicionales preparados sobre una estufa de leña a la antigua.

Importante: Este recorrido no es apto para mujeres embarazadas, personas que han tenido cirugías recientes, sufrido lesiones recientes o con limitaciones cardíacas.

What to Bring

Closed toed water shoes (mandatory), quick drying clothing, sunscreen, and a change of clothes.

Rules

This tour is not suitable for pregnant women. Children must be at least 8 years old. Children rates does not apply for link tour between Arenal- San Jose or vice versa.
