Camaronal es una playa sin desarrollar, los grupos ecologistas locales siempre están trabajando para asegurarse de que este siga siendo un entorno seguro para las tortugas marinas. En el tour los participantes deben usar ropa oscura y abstenerse del uso de cámaras para evitar molestar las tortugas.
Durante el recorrido tendrá la oportunidad de ver una de las tortugas marinas poniendo sus huevos y aprender sobre su ciclo de vida: sólo 1 de cada 5,000 tortugas marinas llega a la edad adulta, lo cual es parte del porqué proteger su ambiente de anidación es tan esencial para su supervivencia.
