The hotel itself and room with volcano view was amazing. The rooms were really large with good coffee facilities. Loved the spa pools and pool bar food. Breakfast was really good with lots of variety and choices. The negatives - reception staff were quite unfriendly and unhelpful - especially when my beach dress was stolen from the pool area. The wait for the shuttle bus with cases on check out was long and resulted in us not being able to have breakfast before our transfer to Monteverde - this was very frustrating especially as it was paid for.
Overall, the room had everything we needed, it's just that the accommodations could use a little updating. The resort was lovely with a great pool area, but it did become a little tiresome having to call for transportation every time we needed to move about the property. Breakfasts were fantastic, though, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Loved Los Lagos! Our family loved our stay here. Rooms are in need of an update but the beautiful scenery and activities outweighed the rooms.
