The El Silencio Mirador is a series of hiking trails and nature reserve located 7.4 miles (12 km) from La Fortuna and 3 miles (5 km) from the Arenal Volcano National Park. The El Silencio property is a vast 555 acres (225 ha) reserve, with over 247 acres (100 ha) of primary rainforest that includes many old-growth trees including the Ceiba, Trumpet Tree, and Guarumo.
The El Silencio Mirador also offers extraordinary views of the Arenal Volcano at the Mirador lookout. El Silencio Mirador is located in the high-risk zone because of its close proximity to the Arenal Volcano, it is an area where new construction is not permitted, but for the last 40 years it has been a safe place to observe the volcano and admire the spectacular view.
Eco Termales Hot Springs in Arenal Costa Rica is a sanctuary of nature and beauty that has been the life work of the Hidalgo family. The smallest of the Arenal Hot Springs, Eco Termales is geared toward privacy and relaxation and does not accept more than 100 visitors at a time. Visitors are invited to enjoy the beautiful environment as guests of the Hidalgo family, and not as walk-in tourists.
Eco Termales hot springs is a family-run operation. The 4 pools vary in temperature — the coolest one is 91 degrees Fahrenheit and the hottest one is 105 Fahrenheit. One of the pools has a cascading waterfall with misty water that is quite refreshing.
Dinner is included and will be offered at a nice restaurant very close by.

This is just for Eco Termales - we loved it! The hot springs were wonderful and the service and food was great. In comparison to the other hot springs in the area, I consider this a hidden gem. Not crowded and plenty of hot springs to enjoy.
Estupendo tour me gustó mucho, servicio, instalaciones, comida transfer y el Guía
Our guide was Juan Carlos. He was very knowledgeable of the area and its flora and fauna. We would have missed 90% of the nature around us had we gone alone. Highly recommend him as your guide. The hike itself is a little bit strenuous, very windy on top, but the view is amazing. You will walk on lava, which is crumbling into sand in places. We walked right after a rain and did not have issues with the ground being slippery, but definitely wear good shoes - we wore Keens and they worked well for us.
