The El Silencio property is a vast 555-acre (225-ha) reserve with over 247 acres (100 ha) of primary rainforest that includes many old growth trees including the Ceiba, Trumpet Tree and Guarumo. The El Silencio Mirador also offers extraordinary views of the Arenal Volcano at the Mirador lookout. El Silencio Mirador is located in the high-risk zone because of its close proximity to the Arenal Volcano, it is an area where new construction is not permitted, but for the last 40 years it has been a safe place to observe the volcano and admire the spectacular view.
Next, you will visit the Tabacon Hot Springs, a luxurious resort. This natural hot spring resort features a hot river that flows through a series of pools and tributaries. From cascading falls to tropical gardens the Tabacon Resort offers a truly unique experience.
Many of our tours and activities offer transportation pick up & drop off options from several locations and destinations. Options vary by tour, see “BOOKING REQUEST” for full details.
Farm tour was good but the food was the best! Tabacon hot springs is so worth it at least once if not twice, plus the added dinner buffet was nice. Can get crowded and times.
Guide was amazine. Too many clouds so did not see the sumit of the volcano
