Experience Highlights
Before the outset of the tour, the group meets at a café across the street from the northeast corner of España Park. Then you’ll be transported to the train station.
When you arrive in Cartago, you’ll hop on a bike and peddle to some of the colonial buildings in the area. Your guide will tell you about local history, and you’ll get to admire a church on a site that dates back to the 16th century. In addition to the tasty coffee plantations, this tour includes a stop at the market to try some specialty cuisine. This market is a truly local market, where townsfolk come to buy produce and other necessities. A visit here is a great way to see a slice of everyday life.
