El Faro Beach Hotel is located on a hillside near the Manuel Antonio National Park. This hotel is constructed from shipping containers and has a unique, environmentally friendly design.

Manuel Antonio is one of the top destinations in Costa Rica and for good reason—the beaches are absolutely beautiful and the forests are teeming with wildlife. On a trip here, you can explore the Manuel Antonio National Park and have a great chance of seeing monkeys, birds, and other animals. If you’d rather spend some time by the ocean, go ahead and soak up sun along one of the several white-sand beaches. Other activities include surfing, kayaking, rafting, and more.

El Faro Beach Hotel is constructed from authentic shipping containers that have been updated into beautiful rooms. Using these containers allowed the hotel to save energy and water when building the hotel, and has resulted in it being especially sustainable. The hotel is built along a hill and looks out over the ocean.

There are five types of rooms to choose from. The rooms on the top floor of the hotel have stunning views of the Pacific Ocean, Manuel Antonio National Park, and Playa Espadilla. Guests of these rooms will enjoy colorful sunsets and a relaxing setting. Six rooms are equipped with a kitchenette that has a mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The kitchenettes make it easy to prepare afternoon snacks and store drinks. All rooms are kept a cool temperature with air conditioning and have a safety deposit box where you can store valuables. Furthermore, all rooms have Wi-Fi and a telephone.

A complimentary breakfast is offered to guests each morning—options include gallo pinto, eggs, toast, coffee, and more. During the afternoon, lounge by the hotel’s swimming pool and soak up some sun before exploring the Manuel Antonio area. There’s also a small bar here where you can order drinks. The hotel also has parking. Guests can be ferried to the top of the hill (where the hotel is) by staff members in golf carts.
