The Falls Resort is situated in the town of Manuel Antonio, a popular destination that is located in the Central Pacific region of the country. Manuel Antonio is stunningly beautiful and has an ample amount of activities for visitors to enjoy.
Undoubtedly, one of the biggest draws of Manuel Antonio is its national park. Internationally recognized as one of the planet’s most biologically diverse parks, the Manuel Antonio National Park is virtually teeming with wildlife. A trip here offers visitors the chance to spot several types of monkeys, birds, lizards and insects. In addition to its wildlife viewing, the park has two gorgeous white-sand beaches – some of the country’s best places to relax beside the sea. Outside the park, there is much to see and do as well. Visitors can spend their time whitewater rafting, horseback riding, sea kayaking, or zip-lining, among other things. Additionally, the nearby port town of Quepos offers some of the country’s best sport-fishing.
The Falls Resort seamlessly mixes the splendor of nature with the comfort of modernity. Its rooms are large and clean, and come stocked with hot water showers, a mini bar, air conditioning, and cable TV. The doors, windows and ceilings are custom-made from laurel and almond wood, and the floors are tiled. Private covered terraces extend the room outdoors, providing guests with chairs and hammocks to relax, read, or even sleep in.
Accommodations are scattered amongst the hotel’s gardens. More than a thousand varieties of plants can be found on the property, including dozens of orchids, herbs and fruit trees. The jasmine, gardenias, and other blooming flowers give the area a colorful appeal, while the palm trees, apple trees, and Guarumo trees draw animals from around the area. Set within this environment is the hotel’s oval-shaped swimming pool, which provides guests with a cool place to beat the heat. Also nearby is the hotel’s bar and restaurant, a spot that is capable of serving up cold drinks, hot meals, and everything in between. If further diversion is in order, guests can visit the lounge area for a game of pool.
