Once at Hacienda Pozo Azul, you’ll get started with your first adventure. The canopy tour includes 9 cables and runs across a forested canyon. The rafting trip is an exciting white-water adventure that runs down the Sarapiquí River and traverses Class II and III rapids. During the rappelling tour, you’ll descend down a 90-foot (28-m) rock wall up to three times. Finally, there is the horseback tour, which allows you to cruise on horseback through pastures, forests, and rivers. You can choose two of these activities.
You’ll be given a snack during one of the tours and enjoy a tasty lunch in between the adventures. There are safety talks given before each activity, and all tours include high-quality safety equipment and certified guides. After your second activity you will head back to San José and arrive around 6:30 PM.

EXCELLENT! We had great tour guides. They were so amazing, knowledgeable, and kind.
One of the best ways to experience Costa Rica is on a white water rafting trip—you see places, animals, and scenery that are often otherwise missed. There are several options for this rafting excursion on the Sarapiquí River, including Class II and III tours, Class IV tours, and a safari float.

Costa Ricans sometime refer to horses as the ultimate all-terrain vehicle. In many ways, this is true—you can forge across streams, trot through forests, and summit mountains on horseback. During this tour, you’ll get a taste of the Costa Rican countryside on these all-natural all-terrain vehicles.
