Adventure-Filled Pura Vida for 3
We booked a full trip that took us to three parts of the country, and did a lot of excursions. Yet, this was by far one of the easiest trips I have ever planned.
We had the best time in Costa Rica...
My husband and daughter LOVED the Balsa River rafting experience. The guide was very patient with our inexperience and made sure we had a great time! I personally enjoyed the sky tram tour which included zip lining in Monteverde. It’s a wonderful area. We had great guides and the zip line was the best one yet and we have done a few in other countries. It was well-coordinated and had a very clean facility. We enjoyed the Hidden Valley Night Tour as well. We saw a surprising amount of wildlife at night. Do be aware that there are a lot of steps that you have to go up and down; my knee did not like it at the end of the night.
The charms of Tamarindo…
Our last stop was Tamarindo, which seemed safe, if somewhat touristy and for a younger crowd. Lots of bars and surfboards. We enjoyed it for a couple of days there. As a traveling senior, the walking conditions were not that ideal. However, the locals were awesome. They were all very helpful and friendly. The Tamarindo area was too hot for us but our younger daughter loved it — must be an age thing.
Best trip we’ve ever planned…
This was by far one of the easiest trips I have ever planned. We had a custom itinerary that allowed us to see three different regions in Costa Rica for a very reasonable price. The staff was very helpful and tours, hotels, and drivers were excellent. Would definitely use Anywhere again.
