Your day will begin with a Safari float on the Peñas Blancas River, where you'll look for tropical birds, monkeys, sloths, crocodiles and iguanas. (The other tours begin with a visit to the hanging bridges — your choice depends on how you want to experience the jungle.)
The tour continues with a hike to La Fortuna, which is one of the tallest waterfalls in the country, at 229 feet (70 m) tall. Once you reach the base of the waterfall you can enjoy a refreshing dip. After your swim, you'll continue to the town center of La Fortuna where a delicious lunch is waiting.
Next, you'll make your way Arenal Volcano National Park. Arenal Volcano is the second-most active volcano in the world. On your walk here you'll have excellent views of the volcano from a safe distance. Informative guides will take you into the dense rainforest to observe the incredible abundance of native wildlife.
Finally you will arrive at the Springs Resort and spa where you will explore the Los Perdidos Hot Springs and the Las Lagunas Springs. This luxurious 5-star resort and hot springs offers guest a memorable and extraordinary experience.

We saw LOTS of wildlife. The waterfall was gorgeous and lunch was one of my favorites (at an organic farm, I think).
We were so glad that we booked this tour. It gave us a great overview and experience in the Arenal area. The tour company was excellent and considerate. Our tour guide Andy could not have been better. He was knowledgable and fun . I was having a hard time getting back up from the waterfall and he stayed with me to make sure I was ok.
