Your day will begin with a Safari float on the Peñas Blancas River, where you'll look for tropical birds, monkeys, sloths, crocodiles and iguanas. (The other tours begin with a visit to the hanging bridges — your choice depends on how you want to experience the jungle.)
The tour continues with a hike to La Fortuna, which is one of the tallest waterfalls in the country, at 229 feet (70 m) tall. Once you reach the base of the waterfall you can enjoy a refreshing dip. After your swim, you'll continue to the town center of La Fortuna where a delicious lunch is waiting.
Next, you'll make your way Arenal Volcano National Park. Arenal Volcano is the second-most active volcano in the world. On your walk here you'll have excellent views of the volcano from a safe distance. Informative guides will take you into the dense rainforest to observe the incredible abundance of native wildlife.
In the evening, your tour will conclude with a visit to a thermal spa. You can choose from Baldí, Tabacón, or Eco Termales. Baldí offers more pools, and they have very different temperatures. Eco Termales is one of the most tranquil spots near Arenal, and the spa has an authentic Costa Rican vibe. Tabacón is another popular spot, and is basically a hot river that flows into multiple pools. You have a fourth option at Titoku, which is part of the Arenal Kioro Hotel. Titoku is one of the most recent additions to the area's collection of thermal springs, and has eight different pools for visitors to try. No matter which spring you choose, your thermal spa experience will include a large buffet.
The Arenal Volcano National Park packs all of Costa Rica's allure into one place: incredible hiking, magnificent views, abounding wildlife and the country's most active volcano. Hiking and horseback riding tours allow you to get up close and personal with this incredible area, which encompasses close to 30,000 acres (12,000 ha) and extends into eight different life zones. Overlooking everything is the imposing Arenal Volcano which sits right inside this wonderful park.

This was our favorite tour overall. Carlos was an excellent guide and Edgar the driver made our day really special. We enjoyed every minute! This is a must do with this company in Arenal!
The 4-in-1 tour with safari float and visit to Eco Termales hot spring spa was our favorite part of a week-long trip to Costa Rica. I would recommend without hesitation to anyone interested in a full day of activities in the La Fortuna area. My friend and I were lucky enough to be alone on our tour with Edgar and Mike who tailored the experience to our interests and needs throughout the day. It's thanks to them that we saw 2 sloths, 2 different kinds of monkeys, birds, frogs, and incredible flowers. Our close-up photos are truly a spectacular keepsake from our trip. We learned SO much from Mike, spanning from information on surrounding nature, animal population, local economy and politics, history, and cuisine. Edgar shared with us his beautiful family spot amongst the tree tops for an authentic, delicious, and relaxing lunch. Thank you for taking care of us and showing us so much of what La Fortuna has to offer. xo, Liana & Jocey
This was an amazing tour. Our guides were very engaging. We saw a ton of animals on the float. The waterfall was amazing, swimming in it was possibly the coolest part of the trip. The volcano hike was informative and breathtaking.
