Playa Cativo Lodge
Playa Cativo Lodge is a small, eco‑focused property set on a private strip of beach along the southern edge of Golfo Dulce, in the province of Puntarenas, Costa Rica. The lodge is reachable only by boat from the nearby port of Golfito, a short crossing that underscores the sense of separation from the more trafficked tourist corridors. Its location places it at the gateway to the Golfo Dulce Marine Reserve, a protected area renowned for its calm, warm waters and abundant marine life.

In your way to Kunken, the road is going to show you the sea from the mountains, many meters above. When you get here, you start coming down our road, all the way to sea level, where the salty water from the ocean is a minute away from your own room.
