Río Peñas Blancas
Conocido como la “la gema de aguas blancas del Atlántico de Costa Rica ”, el río Peñas Blancas se ejecuta a través de la Cordillera de Tilarán en el norte central de Costa Rica. A continuación, converge con el río San Carlos al este del Volcán Arenal .

Las aguas claras del río son alimentadas por las prístinas aguas de varios bosques privados de Monteverde y está rodeado por un exuberante bosque lluvioso, aguas termales volcánicas, cascadas y cañones que llegan a medir hasta de 213 metros de altura.
En otras palabras, el río Peñas Blancas es una aventura escénica indiscutible.
Gran parte del río es relativamente tranquilo, pero cuentan con partes de clase II a IV. La mayoría de los visitantes al río disfrutan de un safari float muy tranquilo para aprovechar las aguas termales, cascadas y abundante fauna que incluye monos, perezosos, tortugas de río, cocodrilos, iguanas y muchas especies de aves.
