Tour 2 en 1 Catarata La Fortuna y tour de chocolate

Este tour es una introducción increíble al paisaje costarricense donde se puede apreciar la majestuosa catarata La Fortuna y conocer una plantación local de cacao.

El tour comienza con una exquisita taza de chocolate; aquí se aprende sobre cómo opera una pequeña plantación de cacao y cómo las frutas oblongas y amarillentas de cacao se transforman en suave chocolate.

Seguidamente el recorrido lo lleva hasta la catarata de La Fortuna, ubicada justo en las afueras del extinto Volcán Cerro Chato. La catarata tiene 75 m de altura, para llegar es necesario caminar un poco, pero una vez en la base es el sitio ideal para refrescarse un poco en la pequeña piscina natural antes de subir por las escaleras de nuevo.

3. The one way trail to La Fortuna waterfall is very steep and narrow, expect 480 stairs. The length of the trail is about 600 meters and it takes about 20 minutes to reach the bottom of the waterfall. The level of difficulty is easy on the way down and moderate to strenuous on the way up. Please take into account this leg of the tour is not recommended for pregnant women or people with difficulty going up and down stairs, heart issues or serious musculo-skeletal disorders/injuries.
