Catarata La Fortuna
Situado a sólo 6 km del pueblo de La Fortuna, esta impresionante catarata proporciona a los visitantes un maravilloso lugar para nadar y relajarse. La ubicación de esta cascada no podría ser mejor, se encuentra situada en la base del cerro Chato, en medio de un exuberante bosque tropical.

La caminata a la cascada es de unos 20 minutos y conduce a través del bosque tropical. La cascada en sí mide unos 75 metros de altura, y cae en una piscina natural de agua que es perfecta para nadar. Salpique con los amigos, tome fotos y disfrute de uno de los mejores lugares de interés turístico de la naturaleza.
Una organización no lucrativa que administra el centro turístico, llamada ADIFORT, Asociacion de Desarrollo Integral de La Fortuna. Utiliza las ganancias de la tarifa de entrada para ayudar a mantener el área circundante. Hay un centro de visitantes en la entrada donde se pueden comprar artesanías.

The trip to Costa Rica was very memorable. My family and I enjoyed a lot. We did many things like rappelling, rafting for the first time. We saw lovely birds and animals. Anywhere team consisting of Leo Navarro did a great job of organizing and making the logistics part of travel as comfortable as possible. We did not have to worry about anything. Everything was taken care of. Costa Rica is beautiful place with great culture and very tourist friendly. Loved the place !
