"Hanging Bridges Embark on an exciting journey through the rainforest on a well-designed trail featuring both paths and hanging bridges. This 3 km route offers unique perspectives of the jungle: explore the forest floor on the trails and experience the treetop canopy while walking across suspension bridges. Along the way, a knowledgeable guide will highlight the diverse flora and fauna of the region, enriching your adventure with fascinating insights into the ecosystem.
La Fortuna Waterfall This destination is a must-see when visiting Arenal. The combination of lush vegetation, crystal-clear water, and the stunning 229-foot (65-meter) waterfall creates a truly breathtaking scene. Be sure to bring your swimsuit, as this is a fantastic opportunity to swim in refreshing natural waters.
To reach the pool beneath the falls, you'll descend a trail with 498 steps. The climb back up typically takes between 15 to 30 minutes, depending on your fitness level. It’s a rewarding experience well worth the effort, offering both natural beauty and a refreshing swim."

1. The sequence of the activities is at the supplier’s discretion based on their operational logistics. 2. Participants should be in good physical condition to do the hike. 3. The one way trail to La Fortuna waterfall is very steep and narrow, expect 480 stairs. The length of the trail is about 600 meters and it takes about 20 minutes to reach the bottom of the waterfall. The level of difficulty is easy on the way down and moderate to strenuous on the way up. Please take into account this leg of the tour is not recommended for pregnant women or people with difficulty going up and down stairs, heart issues or serious musculo-skeletal disorders/injuries.
