Costa Rica is an absolutely beautiful country with wonderful people. We had visited Costa Rica before but wanted to come back again. From rainforests to the beaches of Guanacaste, we did it all.
Visiting Costa Rica again…
Anywhere had helped us plan a great trip to Costa Rica the year before, it was so amazing we wanted to do it again. Costa Rica is an absolutely beautiful country with wonderful people that garners multiple visits. My wife and I loved Arenal and Monteverde but wanted to add a new beach region to explore in the Guanacaste Province.
Stunning views and comfortable stays…
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tabacon Hot Springs resort. The rooms were great, and the hot springs and dining at Tabacon were wonderful. As for the new additions to our Costa Rica experience in Samara and Playa Flamingo – the Flamingo Beach Resort was very nice, and the room we had on the upper floor with a balcony was just perfect.

The taxi boat ride from Arenal to Monteverde unexpectedly turned out to be one of the highlights of the trip. The boat ride was fun, and the drive from Arenal Lake to Monteverde was a delight on a beautiful sunny day. Managing the access, and access to the boat ride with suitcases over quite rugged pathways was challenging, but the service people and the local people enthusiastically helped us. Although Costa Rica continues to become a more expensive destination because of blooming tourism, it is well worth the visit!

Alajuela, nicknamed City of the Mangoes, is one of the most important cities in Costa Rica.
