This is the perfect honeymoon. We had never experienced a rainforest so dense and lush before. The Rio Celeste and waterfall is an incredible thing to see. We would love to return here one day.
The honeymoon of our dreams…
We started planning this honeymoon trip half a year in advance. We wanted to explore different areas of Costa Rica including rainforests, volcanoes, and some relaxing beach time. Leonardo helped us plan a fun-filled vacation across the country, from Arenal Volcano to Playa Potrero. He completely understood the kind of trip we wanted, and was extremely helpful as we made adjustments along the way.
Awesome experiences for Costa Rica first-timers…
We got to do a lot of things for the first time on this trip, including a night hike while we were in Arenal. It was a very fun and intimate hike with our guide Heubert, since there were only 5 people. We saw many great insects and animals during the hike and our guide had great knowledge about everything. The sky tram and zip line were also great experiences from start to finish. The views on the hike and zip lines were incredible, and the staff were all very professional.
The perfect beach getaway…
We ended our vacation at Playa Potrero — the perfect beach getaway and exactly what we needed after a week of exploring rainforests, cloud forests, and rivers. It's remote and allows you to disconnect and just relax. The beach is secluded and never busy, the sand feels great and the ocean provides perfect waves to play in.
