Aquí, las piscinas son calentadas por la actividad geotérmica del Volcán Arenal. Los huéspedes contarán con acceso complementario a todas estas aguas ricas en minerales. Además, también habrá una piscina rodeada por follaje selvático que cuenta con agua fría. Cuando esté listo para un cóctel, reme hacia el bar junto a la piscina, o visite los otros dos bares del hotel.
Los terrenos del hotel están hermosamente ajardinados, y conforman una configuración encantadora para los tratamientos de spa. Los huéspedes mayores de 18 tendrán acceso a los jardines del hotel Shangri-La. Mientras se encuentre en esta área, usted podrá coordinar emocionantes excursiones; pruebe el rafting de aguas rápidas en el Río Sarapiquí, haga rappel bajo las cataratas cercanas, o realice canopy por el dosel en el Parque Nacional Volcán Arenal.
Habrá un bufete, al igual que un restaurante de lujo con código de vestimenta. Al llegar, el personal le dará la bienvenida con una bebida frutal. Los huéspedes podrán comenzar sus mañanas con un satisfactorio desayuno en el bufete, el cual estará incluido con su estadía. Los viajeros de negocios podrán usar la sala de conferencias de 113 metros cuadrados; también habrá equipo audiovisual disponible a solicitud.
Los dormitorios de lujo cuentan con colores neutrales con acentos tropicales. Los alojamientos cuentan con comodidades como lucernarios, balcones, duchas tipo lluvia, y Jacuzzis. Todos los dormitorios tendrán baños privados.
Los huéspedes también tendrán acceso al Wi-Fi por todo el resort, y podrán hacer llamadas internacionales.
Amazing hotel. Excellent setting and service.
The grounds of the resort are beautiful and very well maintained - makes you feel like you are staying in the middle of a rain forest. The room (Orchid Room) was very nice and modern, with a view of a backyard type area with plants (we even saw wild turkeys walking around). Breakfast was also great. The highlight, however, are the thermal pools, which are in a tropical rain forest type setting and which guests have access to for free. Really unforgettable. We went every day.
I'm not sure there is a much pretty resort than the Tabacon. We selected the Rainforest rooms and were very pleased. They were extremely clean, spacious and lovely. We loved the little bit of "remoteness" from the rest of the resort and yet it was only a 5 minute walk to the lobby and restaurant. The staff that cleaned our rooms were excellent. The shuttle service to and from the hot springs ran efficiently! The "hot springs" were absolutely breathtaking!!! My sister-in-law and I enjoyed a relaxing day at the spa and our massages were a "little bit of Heaven" in such a beautiful natural setting! We enjoyed dinner 2 evenings at the Ala Carte restaurant and lunch at the buffet restaurant at the springs. The meals were good but had we not been staying there I wouldn't choose these restaurants to dine at ... I heard the food has been better in the past. One evening we went into town which was fun and I think there are some excellent options and would give you a flavor of the area with more food options. Also, the cost of the drinks (alcohol) are high (similar to a good restaurant in the US).
