Hay aproximadamente 113 especies de murciélagos en Costa Rica, lo que conforma casi la mitad de especies de mamíferos en el país. Durante el recorrido aprenderá sobre las múltiples especies y clasificaciones de murciélagos del bosque tropical de Sarapiquí.

Durante el recorrido el guía le contará sobre la adaptación y reproducción de los murciélagos. La Reserva Biológica Tirimbina ha pactado un compromiso para preservar el medio ambiente y los investigadores sólo podrán retener los murciélagos por aproximadamente 2 horas.

Hacia el final del tour, los guías le mostrarán cómo capturan los murciélagos para las investigaciones. Además, podrá echar un vistazo de cerca a los murciélagos capturados.

What to Bring

Re-use bottle water, insect repellent, closed toed shoes, long pants, poncho or umbrella and flashlight .
