A Romantic Adventure in The Making

A Romantic Adventure in The Making

Our favorite part of the trip was experiencing all of the wildlife, monkeys, birds, butterflies and the scenery was GORGEOUS! Each portion of our two-week stay went according to plan, and we have many fond memories for our next trip!

Our first time with so much adventure!

For this Costa Rica trip, we were most interested in seeing wildlife, experiencing the cloud forest, and trying zip lining at least once! Our travel planner was SO helpful in suggesting adventures, hotels, and transportation to fit both our budget and our lifestyle. Our favorite part of the trip was experiencing all of the wildlife, monkeys, birds, butterflies, and the scenery was GORGEOUS!

You must visit this part of Costa Rica…

The guided tour at Manuel Antonio National Park iss amazing. We saw many monkeys, birds, and raccoons. The area is just beautiful. Make sure you go in the morning before the crowd gets there. The fresh fruit at the end of the tour really hit the spot. We stayed at the Jungle Beach Hotel and oh my gosh...the Capuchin Monkeys were hilarious! They were climbing on the trees right outside our room. They’ve got great freshly prepared breakfast each morning! It was nice to be able to just take a short walk to the beach also.

A well-rounded trip with expert support at all times!

We enjoyed all five regions — Monteverde, Manuel Antonio, Tortuguero, La Fortuna/Arenal, and Guanacaste, which were all different but *very* enjoyable. Each portion of our two-week stay went according to plan and we have many fond memories for our next trip!

Playa Hermosa Guanacaste

Hermosa, which means "beautiful" in Spanish, is an aptly named gray-sand beach that perches between two mountains. In fact there are two Playas Hermosa, the other being in the Central Pacific Coast near Jaco while Guanacaste's Playa Hermosa is situated between Playa del Coco and Playa Panama, Hermosa is seldom as crowded as its neighbors. It is a fabulous getaway for those seeking quality relaxation.

Palo Verde

Palo Verde National Park consists of a tropical dry forest, covering 45,492 acres (18,417 ha). To the west of the park, the Río Tempisque flows with salt water from the Gulf of Nicoya. Depending on the season, the environmental conditions in this park vary greatly. In the wet season (May to November) the Río Tempisque rises, filling up the park’s swampland. From January to March you won’t get much rain, but the forest will be lush and full of visiting birds. If you visit during the wet season, the hiking trails will be either soggy or underwater.
