Absolutely loved Uvita! It’s a little slice of paradise. Beautiful untouched beaches surrounded by rain forests. Just amazing. Jessica said I should go and she was right!

Excellent Customer Service. Thank you!
Didn't spend too much time here since I was at Envision, but it seemed nice. I went to the waterfalls one day and it was amazingly peaceful if you hike farther up past the main pool area. I hung out in the smoothie hut until the shuttle arrived and it had good watermelon slushies and free wifi.
Birdwatching with Ronnie at Oros Verde was very good value and expertly handled by him. He is a very nice man and has a beautiful property full of birds and animals. Highly recommended.
Jungle Blue restaurant was amazing, and I would highly recommend eating there.
We really liked eating in Dominical at the Dominical Sushi restaurant and at Tortilla Flats. We also enjoyed Zip lining at Osa Canopy Tours. We liked the casualness of the Uvita and Dominical areas. It was pretty laid back and we enjoyed just touring around and doing some exploring.
I would recommend anyone traveling to Uvita to consider renting a car. There's not a lot to do in the area so if you have your own transportation you will have a better time and can see more.
We felt safe everywhere even after dark. I recommend Mystic Dive Center for scuba diving. I recommend the big Tico restaurant in Uvita, I can't remember the name. There is a great bakery shop on the main street too.
I felt safe in Uvita and it was not touristy at all. I am major nature lover and this was my favorite spot in Costa Rica. Overall experience was a blast.
Uvita is a very small village and to really enjoy the area, you need to have your own transportation. We did feel safe in this area. There are not too many tourists so it is very spacious. We suggest this area for water activities and nature lovers as well. All the locals we met were very hospitable and helpfull. We have enjoyed our experience in Uvita and your representation of this area was spot on.
We asked for an off the beaten path beach and got it. The Bellana Park was great. This really was a treat for us. Others may not like that Uvita doesnt have much of a town area but the Whales Tail Lodge made up for it. We were happy to relax in the pool, have a couple of Imperials, and enjoy a great meal there. I would come back to Uvita.
We loved it!
Nature lovers/snorkelers/divers-this is a definite destination. Felt very safe, loved the locals and would return in a second!!!
This was a nice quiet town, loved it. The beach was not crowded at all, we were almost the only ones there. The waterfall was quaint and a fun place to swim and hang out one afternoon. The people were so friendly and nice. We ate at the Soda Naranjita twice because the food was so good.
Uvita is just a very small town with few "tourist attraction" which made it just perfect for us.
Uvita very nice nature, friendly people; I felt safe..
Uvita was wonderful. Novice travelers take heed: You're won't be in Kansas anymore.
Uvita is a very tiny town. If you sneeze, you will drive right through it. It is not a destination, but that was where Oxygen was located. There is a great coffee shop next to the appliance story and across the street from the bank that we thoroughly enjoyed. We ate our meals at Oxygen as we had a gourmet chef and that food was out of a magazine.
We all really like this area. Would definitely go back. Good for all ages.
