Safari Float

This safari float is a half-day adventure that combines rafting down a calm river with a wildlife expedition. Floating along means that you don’t need a noisy motorboat, making this tour ideal for spotting the most wildlife possible.

Arenal

The Peñas Blancas River flows through Arenal National Park, which is known for its tremendous biodiversity. Arenal National Park has over 800 species of tropical birds, including parrots and quetzals. Your naturalist guide will handle rowing the raft, so you can concentrate on the scenery.

Monkeys will leap between trees, and you’ll listen to their chatter along with melodious birdcalls. You may spot families of iguanas lounging on tree branches. Keep your eyes peeled for caimans and crocodiles.

Bring binoculars so you can see as much of the rainforest as possible. Your guide can explain this rainforest’s complex ecosystem, and point out some of the hard-to-spot animals hiding in the trees. You’ll be able to ask your guide all your questions about local wildlife.
