Fun for Everyone
If you're seeking a family tour that's good for both children and seniors, then the Peñas Blancas Safari Float is an ideal tour! Your naturalist guide will handle the majority of the raft's rowing, so you can concentrate on the scenery. However, along the way, you may hit stretches of Class II and III rapids. This is your opportunity to grab a paddle and help steer. It's a mini-whitewater rafting adventure and a safari flaot all in one!
Visit Nature and Her Family
Your eyes will widen with delight as Monkeys leap between trees and chatter. Become entranced by the melodious siren song of tropical birds (the region boasts over 800 species). You may spot families of iguanas lounging on tree branches, and you definitely don't want to miss the caimans and crocodiles.
Bring binoculars so you can see as much of the rainforest as possible. Your guide can explain this rainforest’s complex ecosystem, and point out some of the hard-to-spot animals hiding in the trees. Your guide is extremely knowledgeable, so you will be able to ask of the questions you have about local wildlife.
Anywhere Makes Adventure Easy!
Your adventure concludes with a tasty treat courtesy of a tour at Eden Chocolate. Discover how the chocolate you know and love is created — going from cacao fruit, to dried bean, to bar. Of course, this experience wouldn't be complete if you didn't get to sample the finished product, and sample you shall!
This adventure is wholesome family fun that everyone can enjoy — regardless of age general athletic ability. Why go to a zoo when you can be rewarded by visiting nature on her home turf? See the colorful animals of Costa Rica on tis fun and exciting safari float down the Peñas Blancas River.

Traveler Comments
Floyd was an excellent and personable guide!
It was a relaxing way to spend the afternoon. We didn't see much wild life other than birds and a few Holler monkeys. I think I would opt for a more adventurous tour next time but I was not disappointed as the weather was nice and our guides were hospitable.
