Your naturalist guide will handle the majority of the raft's rowing, so you can concentrate on the scenery. However, along the way, you may hit stretches of Class II and III rapids. This is your opportunity to grab a paddle and help steer. It's a mini-whitewater rafting adventure and a safari flaot all in one!
Visit Nature and Her Family
Your eyes will widen with delight as Monkeys leap between trees and chatter. Become entranced by the melodious siren song of tropical birds (the region boasts over 800 species). You may spot families of iguanas lounging on tree branches, and you definitely don't want to miss the caimans and crocodiles.
Bring binoculars so you can see as much of the rainforest as possible. Your guide can explain this rainforest’s complex ecosystem, and point out some of the hard-to-spot animals hiding in the trees. Your guide is extremely knowledgeable, so you will be able to ask of the questions you have about local wildlife.
