We couldn't have asked for a better experience! We were so impressed with Costa Rica. It is wonderful how much the locals care for the Earth! Everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming. We tell ANYONE who will listen that Costa Rica is the best vacation that we have EVER had.
The most memorable Costa Rica vacation ever!
This trip to Costa Rica was definitely one I’ll remember forever. Lester recommended the perfect itinerary that has some exciting activities and the best accommodations for relaxing. For example, whitewater rafting...I was terrified to go initially! But the group of guys was THE BEST! They were so funny and sweet and made sure that we all knew exactly what to do. The young man that was our guide was so kind and did everything to help me enjoy this! My husband laughs at me because I was so afraid, but yet I am smiling in every picture that was taken of us. I’m so happy that we did this!
Highlights of this trip…
We were actually late for our guided tour in Curi-Cancha Reserve, but it wasn't the fault of our driver or the reserve...unfortunately there was a terrible fire in town that closed the roads. We waited a bit and were given a private guide (who was the kindest and most enthusiastic young man that we have ever met). We were able to see the most beautiful birds, and have pictures that we will treasure forever!
The perfect end to the trip that I did not *want* to end…
Manuel Antonio was PERFECT. We stayed at Buena Vista Villas, and this is where we felt like we were in HEAVEN! Every place we visited was so beautiful, but this is where nature found us. Having the fortune to stay in a beautiful room where the monkeys came to entertain us every morning was PRICELESS! We felt like little kids laughing at the monkeys swinging on the hammock, jumping on the furniture and wrestling with each other! Then there were the sunsets... Oh. My. Gosh. BEAUTIFUL! The private beach was wonderful, and getting to see all the sloths and hear the howler monkeys...we couldn't have asked for more! I honestly didn't want to come home; I told my husband that I could live here forever!

Arenal Volcano National Park
The Arenal Volcano National Park packs all of Costa Rica's allure into one place: incredible hiking, magnificent views, abounding wildlife and the country's most active volcano.
